They're both about equal. I'd suspect the ASUS board would have slightly better memory overclocking support, but that's just a guess. Haswell was the generation that made motherboard design inconsequential, as long as it turned on it was generally good enough, it's not like now where if you put a 13900K in a low end board you find it would be power throttled to prevent the VRM from exploding. Realistically I'd just go for whichever is cheaper, and they both need to be really cheap in order to justify rather than just selling the 4790K and getting a more modern system instead (4790Ks still go for quite a bit on eBay last I checked)

Country?

Price?

Some countries have stupid overpriced z87/97 to the point that you are better off selling that 4790k (equally overpriced in said countries) and buying a used ryzen + mobo combo

both boards have no pci nor post code, both are bad, look for ones with pci or a postcode, why pci? you can insert a pci debug card also marketed as pc analyzer into pci slots which gives you a postcode, extremely helpful for oc especially ram oc, or just troubleshooting in general. Pcie debug cards exist but those are expensive, there are cheap laptop debug cards that use lpc debug but havent tested one myself

How much are the boards costing you?

Common build advice:

1) Buy the cheapest (well reviewed) motherboard that has the features you need. Paying more typically only gets you features you won’t use. 2) only get as much RAM as you need, getting more won’t (typically) make your PC faster. 3) While I recommend getting an NVMe drive, you don’t need to splurge for an expensive drive with DRam cache, DRamless drives are fine for gamers. 4) paying for looks is fine, just don’t break the bank. 5) Tower coolers are usually good enough, unless you go top tier Intel or plan on OCing. 6) OCing is a dead meme, you probably shouldn’t bother. 7) "Bottlenecks" rarely matter and "Future-proofing" is a myth. 8) AIOs don't noticeably improve performance past 240mm and don't improve at all past 360mm. 9) RTFM.

Both seem to be about equal. Are there any specific requirements you have?

I have a high-end PC, but this one is only for office work, some games, basic video editing. but I want a stable MB, so I don't want to have problem or in-compability issues, I would mention that my ram is DDR3 1866 not 1600, are they compatible if I switch XMP on,

I just own it from my old pc...also I have ram and psu... i only need MB to build it

If you can sell it for 50€ and up you can just go straight for a much better performing used ryzen combo, find a cheap used 1600/2600 maybe even 3600 if you are lucky with a used b3/450 board, ddr4 is dirt cheap now that its obselete
