System reset question

So i made a post about a week ago, basically i can't use my windows start button, calender or search my files and a few other things, i've tired every fix i can find on the internet, problem presists in safe mode and i've even made a new windows account and same thing my last option is to do a system reset, if i chose the option "keep my files" when i do a system reset will that fix the issue, or will i have to do "remove everything"
