Carefully Installing CPU/GPU

Yeah, just cursory. But generally if you did it correctly and you make sure it gets in there straight you dont need to wiggle on PGA and LGA. But again, it only cost you .75 seconds of your life, so just do it.

Can a CPU Cooler force too much pressure on the CPU so the pins are bending?

Only if you hardline deliberately do it, the pressure only needs to make it compressed till its screwdriver-tight (where you are starting to struggle to screw in without adding more force to the screwdriver compared to when you start screwing) if youre using a custom cooler that uses spring loaded screws, if youre using clip style, only make sure it goes in and clicks. No further force necessary. Make sure you do this evenly on all 4 sides, criss cross pattern, so all 4 one by one starting from one corner and then the opposite corner.

Nothing beyond the fact that you shouldnt fight gravity. Linus manhandling 3000 and 4000 series and installing the GPU with the case sitting upright is good for the camera but just put the case flat to the floor for you. Beyond that, remember to screw in the pcie mounting screw as per @Vishera says.

Can someone advise? Am i doing it wrong?

Basically with the new CPU sockets you have to be very careful not to drop the CPU in place, i know that. I take it between two fingers and gently align the triangle and gently try to "let it fall" the last half milimeter or so, because my fingers touch the mobo already.

Is it wise to wiggle the cpu a little to make sure it sits correct? Can a CPU Cooler force too much pressure on the CPU so the pins are bending? Is it correct to screw the cooler on just as much so it doesnt wiggle when touched?

Is there any tips for installing the GPU? I just align it to be parallel with the slot and then gently push until it clicks.

I'd be glad or any advise or tips 🙂

Define "a little"

It can mess up the pins in the socket if you mess up the wiggle.

If the CPU is installed incorrectly then the mounting pressure can bend the pins.

Just screw until you feel significant resistance.

And then you screw the PCI-E cover to the case.
