Good temps

yes but that isnt the question, i want to upgrade to the new cooler (Z53 kraken or ML240/360 illusion) i just dont want the temps to be worse

plus im gonna upgrade to a lian li 011 dynamic/mini most likely

i just want to know if the temps will be same or less

Temps aren't going to be worse with a better cooling solution (like those AIOs you mention), but don't expect a huge difference. On a 65W cpu it may be a few degrees at most. The real difference between a small tower and a larger AIO will be seen when overclocking.

Hi guys, i keep hearing that 70° is good temps

but while gaming at ultra graphics, warzone 2 for about 2 hours, my cpu is at 43-53° MAX

(never seen it go above 60° beside for stress testing)

why do i get these temps?

is it because it isnt cpu heavy? i was thinking of getting a NZXT KRAKEN Z53 because of display and rgb, but im worried itll be WORSE than my cooler i have now...

CPU: Ryzen 7 5700x

CPU Cooler: Be Quiet Pure Rock 2 FX

Case: Sharkoon TK5M (with stock fans)

GPU temps are about 64° (6750XT)

Dont forget to mark as solution if your question is answered

What cooler do you have now?

If your CPU is under high load and you get temps like this its absolutely perfect, the lower the temp the better.

Good cpu cooler, high airflow case and a 65W cpu, it's not going to get hot at all.

alright, so the case upgrade and cpu cooler will make no difference on performance, good to hear

this is exactly what i was looing for lol

uve been a great help, ive been looking for about a week now bc nobody does any testing on the tk5m, ill prolly transfer the stock fans to the new lian li case, thanks man!!!!

Woopsies.

Going from your case to an 011 D brings variables to the table however. Both are good cases, differences should be marginal at best.

It's a mesh front case with 3 intake fans already, so the case will be mainly just for looks. It would be a big difference if you were upgrading from a silence focused case, like the BeQuiet Pure Base 500 (non-dx).

If you are going to mount an AIO, I really do suggest mounting it in the front of the case if possible. Have a look at this video by Bitwit, at 12:06 he compares them all.

i have a gpu that blows to top and bottome (bottom 3 fans, top is a hole for air)

i will mount the cooler at the top bc its the only place where i need 2 more fans, and perfect placement for looks imo

ah i see, so i have an open air gpu, problem is i cant mount on front, otherwise ill need a 360 rad (i heavily care about looks) so itll have to be top, i can make the aio fans exhaust
