[Overclocking] RAM

Go to solution Solved by YoungBlade,

Like with all other overclocking, your results will vary based on the silicon lottery - the variation from one piece of in-spec silicon to another. If that works, I'd say you did pretty well in the silicon lottery - being able to OC a component almost 30% is impressive these days.

Until you run a series of tests like Prime95, OCCT, Memtest, and whatever applications you need to work, you won't know for sure if you've found a viable configuration.

Hi, i'm currently overcloking my RAM, like right now as i'm writing this,

so far i've went from DDR4 2666 MHZ (16-18-18-39) to 3400 MHz (16-17-17-24), I think i have a super low tRAS, i didn't to run Memtest yet but do you guys thinks those number are viable for now ?

I runed a Memtest86 with a 3400 MHz (16-17-17-21) configuration and it's viable, not one single error during 75% of the test, had to cut it out because the test was already 1h30 long, i'm pretty sure i could push it to 3533hz but meh, i have a viable and stable config so

And I was able to push it all the way to 3200MHz without touching the timings, so 16-18-18-39
