good used gpu

should i get a 2080ti 2080 super or 3060ti they all are relitivly the same in my veiw tell me if i an wrong they are also all around the same price on ebay used

3060 ti and 2080 Super are basically neck and neck. 2080 ti is about 10% faster.

2080 ti also has more VRAM which could become more important as AAA games get more and more hungry for it.

 

On the other hand the 3060 ti is of course newer and might have a longer lifespan.

 

The 2080 Super is right out, it offers no advantage.

Hey thatguy124. 

 

I largely agree with what's been said before. If you are gaming above 1440p then the 2080ti has an advantage with its larger pool of Vram. If you recall Linus was not able to run Doom Eternal on max settings on a 3070 specifically because of it's 8GB VRAM limitation. 

 

The 3060ti is newer so is likely to last longer, it can also use later versions of DLSS and has better RT cores so if those features are important to you it might be the better option. I have a 3070 and while I rarely use Ray Tracing, I do love DLSS for getting higher framerates.  

 

The 3060ti also uses 200 watts versus 250 for the 2080ti so if you have a lower capacity PSU or live somewhere in the UK where power is expensive that could factor into your decision. 

 

Personally, unless you are gaming at 4k I would take the 3060ti.
