Why not Rtx 4090 and No NVME drive. This is going to be slower than my 200$ laptop if you are Not getting a NVME so A totally overkill but entirely pointless build. This is prob the best rig that do the job

PPS: my current device for all my work is a TOSHIBA Laptop Satellite AMD A8-Series A8-3500M

response to coment: This is ment to be over the top by todays standerds because when i buy a device i dont upgrade it for at 4 years so i get more than i need now, also it is about 90 terabites of data of old 3D renderings and notes, as well as some very ol movys and TV shows i currently keep them all on unlabed usd flashdrives that is in at least 3 shoe boxes and it is just takeing up too much space in my house.

Looks like one of those "I made a super expensive build for no reason" posts. At the very least try to be somewhat realistic with the amount of HDDs and RAM sticks you place on the board?

 

Try to include some more detail about the use case? If you can currently make do with a laptop… that system is way overboard. What amount of footage are you dealing with that would require that much RAM and HDD space?

i) Post it as a responce

ii) You are getting this utterly useless machine in the name of Future proofing. You dont need this for the tasks in your hands a 13900K will be able to do that for years and maybe better than old brodwell cpus anyways

iii) if you have that much data Build a nas.

and Build a Nas Or Buy A NAS If you have 90TB+ storage needs get a storinator if not build a Nas (It still going to give you 130TB of raw storage after Raid you still get ~90TB
