Twitch streamer needing CPU help.

I am running into an issue that my CPU runs at 100% while I am streaming. I am running Streamlabs OBS, game, a chatbot, music program, some smaller background programs and discord. I am also using two monitors one is 1440 and the other is 1080. My framerate jumps all over the place while I am streaming, it runs ok for the most part, but defiantly lags at times. If you can assist in any way that would be great.

- RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 2666
- NVMe SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 500GB

- Video Card: ASRock Radeon RX 6700 XT Phantom Gaming

What's doing the encoding for the stream? CPU or GPU? If it's encoding on the CPU while also asking it to do that much multitasking, that would explain it.

Does it run at 100% usage when just streaming without any of the other applications open?

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Maybe Restart it?

I am using the GPU, at one point I was using CPU and it was slightly worse but not by much.

with any other applications at all, or just no game?

Interesting. AFAIK AMD's hardware encoders aren't great, but they should be serviceable. What game are you running? Could be one that just hammers the CPU, meaning you'll have to cut back on background programs to get smooth performance.

Do a test stream and look at which programs are using how much CPU. At least you can then work out what to do from there.

They used to lag considerably behind NVENC, but they're now quite close. 

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
