Stuck on Win 11 update screen

Go to solution Solved by Aridaman Gill,

Solution and advice from every forum i read was:

Let it be, do NOT touch any key and keep it from sleeping away. Doing anything would corrupt your windows file and then its too much work.

It took me an hour but letting it be got out of no percentage loop and its now up.

Hope this info helps!

New PC:

Asus z590-E mobo

intel i5 11600k

Rtx 3060 12gb

corsair vengeance pro 2x16gb 3200 cl16

kingston nvme4.0 m.2 ssd

First ever boot into successful win11 install.

Clicked check for updates and had bunch of them installed.

Pending restart.

No idea if it went over the 0-100% thing after restarting.

But i’m stuck on the “updates are underway. Please keep your computer on” without any % or progression bar of how far i have come on the thing.

Been like this for almost 45mine now. What should i do?

i mean i would try and turn the thing off and on again.

you could corrupt ur windows install but if you have nothing on it then u dont have much to lose?

I didnt do anything but been patiently waiting for past hour. It started telling me the % but got stuck on 21% and restarted itself. now its starting from 7%. and as im writing this, it got above 30% and restarted itself again. hopefully it isnt a loop

You probably had Win 11 22H1 (older) and it updated to 22H2.
