Hi everyone,

I have been doing all I can to fix my GPU because it is not quite bricked but it doesn't work properly.

I had it running overclocked for a while but during gaming my screen froze and it broke... partly.

For a long time I thought it was completely broken until I decided to do a fresh install of Windows and update my BIOS.

The GPU would not always show up in BIOS, but once every 10 tries, which was very weird.

When it does turn on everything works flawlessly, like nothing is wrong with it.

So I decided to flash my GPU to a newer BIOS, which did basically nothing but now my system didn't work as well when the BIOS did finally recognize it, so I returned to my old GPU BIOS.

Another thing I tried was opening up the card to see if there was a burned capacitor or something like that, I did not use a multimeter so not very professional but I saw nothing weird.

The weird thing is that it seems like every time the motherboard BIOS was flashed, the GPU would turn on once, but then a second try it would just not show up.

I also borrowed a PC from a friend of mine to see if it was my PC, put his videocard in my PC and my card in his PC, it is definitely the GPU that is broken.

But as it turns out my friend's PC has a better checking for the PCI port so it would be in a bootloop until it finds the card, not always but works way better than my PC.

I have tried different drivers as well, tried other GPU BIOS's for less powerful versions of my GPU, but couldn't get the drivers to work, tried disabling my PCI in CMD, and probably a few other things I already forgot.

Does anyone know anything else I can try?

My setup is in my account but basically it is a HP COMPAQ ELITE 8200 SFF with an i7 2600, 4x2gb Samsung DD3 (right now as it seemed more stable), MSI GTX 1060 6g GAMING and an EVGA 750 G3 to power it all.

Hope someone can help me 馃檪

1060 were used for miners so it just might be time for a new one. is it fixable probly but cost more then its worth. might even be able to sell it to a miner... 馃き
