Built my first PC 17ish months ago with everything below except had a 2060 and a hx850 then. Only upgraded to the 3060ti and hx1000 9-10 months ago.

Specs -

CPU - i7 10700K
COOLER - NZXT Kraken X61
MOBO - Asrock B560 PRO4
RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (4x8GB)
GPU - Gigabyte RTX 3060 Ti

PSU - Corsair HX1000
M.2 - WD Blue SN550 1TB
SSD - Crucial MX500 1TB
SSD - Crucial MX500 2TB

Last few months ive been noticing a few games performance slowly getting worse and worse, not enough for me to be worried since they still run well enough but lately ive been noticing texture/ rendering issues/bugs, some games have had a few stutters and few crashes but those have been rare so could be just those games in tbh.

Some games the issues are slightly more noticeable but a couple of games is very hard to miss.

Ive found that black ops 2 shows the issues the clearest so i recorded a little clip so something can let me know what is the culprit.

Little 1 min clip to show the issue, most games have some form of the issue shown in the clip -

Just some notes -

This morning i switched to 16gb ram instead of 32gb to see if it was one of my ram pairs but its still got the same issues.

Im on Windows 11 version 22H2 that i updated to from win10 in 3 months ago.

3 days ago i DDU'd my gpu and did a fresh install of the lastest driver directly from nvidia.

That is just the textures' LOD (level of detail) changing as you get closer to or further from them. Not sure if it's changeable in that CoD's settings.

As to performance degrading throughout months of gameplay, it could be anything, for example the card's thermal paste drying off slowly.

Its not just in cod, i only chose cod since it shows the problem the clearest and its only started recently plus the performance issues started when the texture issue started. Ive played the same games with the 2060 for about the same amount of time i have with the 3060ti and it never had either of the issues. Even watching youtube, netflix or a movie with VLC player has visual lag/stutters now and then.

Latest Bios- Yep on ver 2.30

Latest GPU bios - Since it my first PC this will need explaining please, only ever done normal nvidia drivers.

Latest GPU drivers - Yes DDUd to the lastest 3 days ago

Latest chipset drivers - same as the GPU bios question bit of a rookie ive got the intel app but pretty sure thats just for the intergraded gpu, ive gone into device manager and is this the way to tell its current driver? - https://imgur.com/a/ypC6yQz

Latest Audio and network drivers - Yep

CPU&GPU temperatures while gaming - CPU usualy sits between 40-65c ish never seen it go over 70c and the GPU has never gone over 73c and that was on a 45c day

Latest firmware on the SSD - Yep, all 3 are up to date and healthy.

To find the vBios, you need to know which exact card you have, then you need to open the webpage of the card and look under support. Just like you'd do with the motherboard.

As for the Chipset drivers, you have to check Intel instead of the motherboard manufacturer. Board manufacturers don't bother with posting the latest drivers, especially not after a device has been on the market for months or years.

First one should be it.

The second one is the GPU driver for the iGPU. You'd need that too, but it doesn't affect the 3060Ti performance/issues.

Intel INF (chipset driver)

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19347/chipset-inf-utility.html

Also, you can check using Iobit driver booster.

And I'd recommend disabling MultiPlane Overlay MPO and using InSpectre to disable the SPectre and Meltdown mitigations that afect CPU performance.

I got lobit and updated alot of things and did the chipset link it said setup complete and needed to be restarted so i did but not sure if was the driver or just the software for the driver that was done?
Also the MPO and SPectre stuff is it easy and safe to do? Rather not do something i cant/ dont know how to fix.

That's good.

MPO disabling is a registry edit. Easy to undo. And InSpectre is a tool that you can toggle the mitigations off and on.

FwUpgradeExe I think. Isn't there a manual/guide?

For flashing nVidia cards I usually use NVFlash, and for Radeon I do AtiFlash.
