Air flow inside a case

I have bought a a320 MB recently but only to fire it up as a second PC. It has only one fan connector. I can also only install one Fan at the front due to the case limitation. Should it be an Intake or an outtake?

Also Im sorry if its the wrong sub heading, im not sure which one it would fit and this one seemed the best :v

Is there also a CPU and another fan header? A total of 2 fan headers or just one?

If you are not really doing anything intensive with the computer I would put it at the rear of the case so hot air doesn't keep recycling itself around the CPU fan. If you can use fans they do not use a lot of amperage then you just get a Y splitter or fan hub for better airflow. This would be a better option if you are doing something that generates more heat.

Since it is at the front you probably want it to be an Intake (if moving it to the back, make it a exhaust). What case is it? Also, If you want more fans you can always buy a fan header splitter cable.

Common build advice:

1) Buy the cheapest (well reviewed) motherboard that has the features you need. Paying more typically only gets you features you won’t use. 2) only get as much RAM as you need, getting more won’t (typically) make your PC faster. 3) While I recommend getting an NVMe drive, you don’t need to splurge for an expensive drive with DRam cache, DRamless drives are fine for gamers. 4) paying for looks is fine, just don’t break the bank. 5) Tower coolers are usually good enough, unless you go top tier Intel or plan on OCing. 6) OCing is a dead meme, you probably shouldn’t bother. 7) "Bottlenecks" rarely matter and "Future-proofing" is a myth. 8) AIOs don't noticeably improve performance past 240mm and don't improve at all past 360mm. 9) RTFM.
