Hi I have a problem I recently about 20 min ago done a windows 10 optimal 2H22 update or something that was the name and my cpu idle temps went from about 30-35 to 50 -48 ish after the update I restarted my computer same thing only did an update

depending on your thermal management solution it could be heat soaked and just needs time to cool off, you could also double check your CPU setting in BIOS and see if those have been defaulted. without more information its hard to be of more help.

It was the windows update I did it was some optimal update it’s fine now sitting at 35-40C idle again similar to before the update I just upgraded to windows 11 to fix it  with i7 13700K I have an Asus rog strix 360mm water cooler are these temps okay ?
