I play Arma 2, Arma 3 and Dayz standalone I have and i5 4670k and I know that the framerate is dependent on the CPU.  I have an R9 280x should I get an H100i or just leave it or think about selling my i5 and getting an i7.  I was wondering if OC would have an effect that is worth it I obviously don't wanna buy and i7.

Get an NH-D14/D15 then OC your i5. Then maybe upgrade to a 290x later on down the road.

For gaming, there is zero benefit going from i5 to i7, the only difference is hyper-threading, which games don't benefit from.

Buy a Cooler Master 212 EVO and OC your i5.
