1 PC with 2 uses

Good afternoon, 

I have a desktop computer that I am hoping to use for 2 different scenarios at the same time.

 

To start with here are my specifications:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600
Ram: 32GB 3600mhz (2 x 16 gb sticks)
GPU: RTX 3060 12GB
I have 3 NVME drives installed all 500GB
2 x 3TB HDD

1 x 2TB HDD

600W PSU

 

What I want to do is run the windows 10 setup I have for gaming, however I would also like to have a separate OS running where I can run it as a plex box with things like Radarr running but only using the 2 x 3TB HDD's in raid format.

 

I watched the 2 gamers one CPU video from LTT however I am not sure if that is the correct way to go and would like advice on the best way if possible.

Or just run plex and the *arrs in docker containers.

 

Why do you want them in a seperate OS? I think everything you are asking for has native windows support.

Don't need a separate OS for Plex.

 

I used to run Plex while gaming on Emma in my sig.   Plese server doesn't take a lot of resources at all.
