Help with PC build

I am planning to build a gaming PC that can handle most of everything I can throw at it within a not insane price range. I play No Man's Sky, Fortnite, Genshin Impact, and some more games. I plan to try some more games that may be more demanding. I'm looking for 4k/1440p setup. Will these parts be compatible? What would be a good monitor for this purpose? Thanks.   https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DNHVzf

I think I can knock a grand or so off that and still get you what you want.

the video card is used.  It will push 4k more than fine and is vastly cheaper.  You will notice there ar no fans listed.  This is because that cpu cooler is so powerful it doesn’t really need any fans but you could mount one of the two it comes with and be fine.  That gives you 1 (or 2) 120mm pwm fan(s) to add to the case.  If it turns out you need more fans (I don’t think you will) get some open box arctics off eBay along with theat video card.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
