If you saturate your upload limit, your download speeds will suffer. That is expected.
To fix this, you can...
- Upgrade to a higher speed tier package from your ISP or choose a "business-grade" package if uploading is important to you.
- Limit the applications to use less than a certain amount of your upload limit. For example, 80% of your maximum.
- Activate QoS or any other traffic management protocol in your router to give priorities to certain types of traffic so your download speeds don't suffer.
