Finally, I'm building my new High End RIG

Catalonia

Budget (including currency): 4300€

Country: Europe

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Cyberpunk, Forza Horizon 5, Overwatch, Main PC, Virtualization.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have an LG OLED C2 Screen 40 inches 4k 120Hz with HDMI 2.1.

I know some parts are overkill, but I'm giving myself the pleasure to go high end here. I would totally accept any coments or suggestions.

Here my build:

Thanks!

990 Pros are dying, Don't buy it, Even if it was fine it's simply waste of money.

7000D airflow is just a huge case, I don't see why would you need it at all.

You are paying a fortune in a PSU that isn't even ATX 3.0? Wate of money.

You are wasting this much money while not even getting best CPU.

Sorry but screw Corsair, Get a real mechanical keyboard... 😄

This below is what I would go for, Of course aesthetics is what I like, But u can change it to suit your aesthetics.

I really like this case and infinity mirror effect at front. Fan configuration in this case will be NZXT fans at bottom and top and AIO mounted at side with Be quiet fans for best performance. No RGB fans for side, Because front is somwhat transparent and RGB fans make it look bad. OFC u can opt for different aesthetics, But 7000D Airflow? That really is a waste of money. Don't be compeled to get only Corsair staff.

hey!

Thank you so much for your detailed answer!!!

First a couple of things:

1) I already had the Corsair AX1600i from a previous build, so I'll keep it 🙂

2) I wanted the large case because I'm looking for the 420mm AIO (H170i) Any other recommendation that supports a 420mm radiator at the top?

3) The 7950x is the best, sure. But, in gaming too? Is it really worth it the extra cores only for gaming? And btw, I'm waiting for the X3D to be released before buying, so It'll be the 7800X3D or up.

4) I had the Corsair K95 and I really like it. What's wrong with Corsair's Keyboards? (I am now typing this with a legendary IBM Model M from 1991) 😉

Again, thank you so much for your time!

Then it would make no sense to get new PSU. Get this:  600W PCIe 5.0 12VHPWR Type-4 PSU Power Cable

U can mark parts as purchased on PCPartPicker tho.

X3D CPUs would be the best for gaming. I meant in relative to build you linked, I thought you were going to buy 500bEuros + PSU, Almost 300 Euros case, etc and meanwhile getting only 7900X.

Nothing wrong with it, I really don't like it's price point because u can get better keyboards for it.

Lancool III fits 420mm with some motherboards.

Phanteks ECLIPSE G500A also fits.

be quiet! Silent Base 802 is a really good option, I would opt for this than.

Recently a number of credible reports of 990 Pro reporting rapidly degrading health have appeared. We are talking about going from 100% healthy to 60% in a matter of a few weeks! Samsung has yet to acknowledge the problem. Until it does I would refrain from purchase. The WD SN850X is a high performance gaming drive that would be a good alternative.

I would have chosen different parts, but there really is nothing wrong with your choices other than cost.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
