VIP ticket availability outside pre-sale

I completely understand the VIP presale for LTX. But does that mean there's virtually no chance at a VIP ticket for anyone else? Last LTX was going to be my first but I didn't have the money back then for a VIP ticket on top of my international flight and lodging. I've saved up over the past 3(!) years and I already booked my flight when the dates were announced. I'd be very disappointed to miss the chance to attend as a VIP this year.
