Dirt 3 crash in the 3-2-1 countdown, only when using xbox 360 controller... any ideas?

It will run just fine if i play with keyboard.

As soon as i change to my xbox 360 controller it crashes within 2 seconds and no error messages.

I reinstalled the game and i tried 3 different usb ports.

Computer is new ddr5 with 13700k and 3070 evga.

It was just fine last week, today i got a new alienware 38inch monitor, so i tried with a smaller resolution and it's still the same issue.

I can even go in the menus and everything with the xbox 360 controller just fine, it will only crash the game after the first count down when the race starts...
