Budget (including currency):  Rs.1000(about 13$)

Country: India

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:  gaming and/or productivity mouse

Other details I have a Logitech g402 who's wire has been cut- should I buy a a cable especially made for that the above mouse(they are pretty costly-) or any mouse wire is fine provided the connector is the same? Also, is there a possibility to upgrade it to a wireless mouse with a dongle or something?(I don't mind if the latency is bad, I'll just use it as a productivity mouse)

Just get a usb cable with the needed connectors, connect it and call it a day

Coincidence, I did just this a few years ago after the original cable was mangled beyond use (moving it would cause it to intermittently disconnect). LightSpeed is GOAT

I bought a compatible cable off of AliExpress, I can confirm 100% it worked and still does, but I cannot say if it will for any others, just make sure it has the same amount of pins on both ends I suppose.

As for wireless mods, no idea.
