What antivirus do you recommend ?

I had Norton for a couple a years ... I heard it slows down the computer.

What is the best one ?

The built-in Windows Defender works just as poorly as all the rest of them.

The best antivirus is logic and awareness of what you're doing (as in you). Other AVs are just false positive shenanigans.

Facts. I gave up fighting with trying to disable defender back in the day, as it would turn itself back on eventually. This was back when my PC was crap and every ounce of RAM mattered. Now I let it do it's thing. But I went a few years without running anything, and never had an issue.

Just use Windows defender. If you MUST use a non-windows defender AV then Malwarebytes is probably the best bet? But it really doesn't provide any additional benefit.
