New side panel for silverstone case

So I have searched and searched, trying to find a new side panel for my Silverstone RL06 redline case. Either in plastic or tempered glass, since the case was made in both versions and it looks like the holes is the same on both version. So the only difference should be what it was shipped with. I am just totally unable to find anything at all. I could find a be quite pure base 600 tempered glass, but what is the chances that it would fit?

Basically zero.

 

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. You seem to forget the existence of expanding foam.

 

@ TS: what happened to the original side panel? Do you still have it? Was it solid metal? If so, you could always try to DIY and add in a piece of glas/plexiglas. I don't think a panel from a different case/different brand would fit well.

Even a quick glance at the dimensions of each case shows that the RL06 is taller than it is long, while the Be Quiet case is longer than it is tall, which means that it's surpassingly unlikely that a side panel designed for one would fit on the other.

It is still on, and it works fine, but i tried to clean the plastic window with a spunge and it ended up putting a lot of small scratches on it, so it looks like crap now and is not very transparent 😞

Did you try contacting silverstone directly? To find an extra HDD tray for my 10 yo corsair case, I had to contact them directly...

 

If it's a flat-ish piece of plexiglas, you might be able to replace it yourself. (I once made my own side panels, with actual glass in it)

I have tried writing to them on facebook, and two different mails. I don't know if they just have long response times, or if they are ignoring me xD

 

but I actually know one who works with glass. So maybe I can just buy som tempered glass and make him make the holes ;D

Try contacting them trough their support website? Might have bettur luck there.

 

Also, I didn't bother with tempered glass. I kept my case static/not moving around. Didn't see the need to go tempered at all. Just gotta be slightly careful, because well... It's glass.
