The built in compatibility checker on PCPartPicker.com is useful for making sure that your CPU and motherboard are compatible.

Budget (including currency): as chaeap as it goes but still good performance

"As cheap as possible but still good" can mean different things to different people. But, for someone upgrading from an old FX CPU, I recommend:

1) A cheap Ryzen 5 2600 or 1600-AF from eBay

2) a cheap used or new B450 motherboard (with a decent heat sink on the vrm)

3) the cheapest DDR4 3000 or 3200 you can get.

With this, you can save a lot of money and get a very good upgrade path.

Check out mindfactory. That's the largest store in Germany. That way you know what is available to you, like cases. For help with cases you should preselect a bit since those are very subjective.

Best to use pcpartspicker. That also checks compatibility.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
