No hdmi port detected

I am not receiving any display from my hdmi port. I have removed the possibility of the problem being my monitor or my hdmi cable. Although i do not have other ram sticks to try remove it being the problem I want to find out if it is a psu problem or a gpu problem.

 

 

 

Ps:my problem encountered while I was in a game and my screen went black. Does your Motherboard have onboard graphics? If so maybe remove the GPU from the PC and connect the HDMI cable directly into the board and run a stress test, then try the same again with the GPU installed and connected (Just a word of caution that if it is a PSU problem, prolonged use could damage your system.)

 

Alternativity are you able to grab the Hardware events from Event viewer from around the time of the crash and post a screenshot of any errors?
