Depending on the pricing, it could make sense.

 

My main question mark is the choice to go DDR4 when you're also investing in a 13700KF and 7900XTX. Those are high end parts, so you should probably pair them with a high end Z690 DDR5 board rather than a high end B660 DDR4 board using modest DDR4 memory.

 

Also, not sure why you want to get an expensive 1TB SATA drive - if you're going to get a SATA drive for some extra storage, you should probably just get a cheap-o DRAM-less drive at this point. Either that or just go with 2 NVMe drives, as quality NVMe and quality SATA cost about the same these days.

 

But overall, it seems like a reasonable build for gaming and many workloads (as long as they don't need Nvidia's CUDA)
