Going through hell with trying to build with an A-320 Ryzen system, I decided to go with an Intel System.

The i5-10400f is the cpu I decided to go with. The 1200 platform with upgradability to 11th gen really interested me.

The GPU I went with is a RX 6600. It was a gift for Christmas, it is smooth as butter and FPS don’t disappoint.

I wanted to know if there is anything I should know about to improve my experience. I also attached images because I am proud of myself lmao.080B2265-FE59-42EA-B21F-D50B98AD1861.thumb.jpeg.f187f018a8a3990f754fbd8314fa6bbd.jpeg

Hard to tell what case this is, I assume something old given the hard drive and optical drive cages. Do you have more space in the back to stash away all the lose front panel connectors?

I would rotate the CPU fan so that its cable is exiting at the bottom rather than at the top.

Same for the PCI-E cable. I'd run it below the GPU.

Other than that, its a lovely looking build.

Main system: Ryzen 7 7800X3D / Asus TUF Gaming B650-Plus / G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO 32GB 6000Mhz / Zotac RTX 5090 SOLID OC/ x2 WD_BLACK NS770 2TBs/ Corsair HX1000i/ NZXT H5 Flow

It’s an older Phanteks that was given to me for free. There is not much space behind to manage with so the larger, thicker cables stick out too much and make the case back in close able.

I had to place the CPU fan cable that way because the fan came cracked. With it rotated the other way the side of the fan touches the blade and makes a HORRIBLE sound. I could red neck fix it but it is not too bad if a eye sore.

The PCI-E cable connector is a pain in the ass you would have to pay me $30 a hour to try to mess with that thing. The extended cable connector seem a little broken. The +2 wont snap to the +6 so it is very finicky to connect to the card.

Thank you, I did not know how it would turn out but I am happy with the end result.
