Looking to buy a new monitor, and I think I've narrowed it down to a few choices. I just don't know that much about the differences and which would be the better buy for the money.

I want a 32" panel, at least 120hz refresh, and a mount with swivel. My budget is 500 USD. I mainly play fps games, and rhythm games where the refresh rate and latency are paramount. Also I don't think the inherent blur with a VA panel would be appropriate for rhythm games, which is why I've mainly only looked at IPS panels.

I've narrowed it down to these three;

LG 32gp850-b

https://www.displayninja.com/lg-32gp850-review/

LG 32gp750-b

(Rtings and DisplayNinja did not have any reviews)

LG 32gq850-b

https://www.displayninja.com/lg-32gq850-review/ (Rtings did not have a review for this model)

Both the gp750 and gp850 are the same price on Amazon, while the gq850 is 100USD more. Is the increase in price worth it? I appreciate any feedback, I've been racking my brain for a couple days now.

Thanks!

Lastly for the few who ask, this is my rig;

Asus Strix B450-F

Ryzen 7 3700x

GTX 1070 ti

24GB Corsair Vengeance @ 3200 mts

(2) Inland Premium 1TB NVMe drives

I've been considering the 4K version of the 32GQ, for better text clarity for job, and it's seemingly the best non-OLED or non-MiniLED IPS monitor to get for my use case. The biggest advantages over the 32GP are the A-TW polarizer, the faster refresh rate (I don't personally see a need for 240Hz but that's me), and HDMI 2.1 instead of 2.0 (for newer console connection).

Are those worth $100? For some people, yes. I also like to consider that if you're getting a monitor, odds are you'll have it for the life of more than one PC/gaming system. Not many people change monitors every 2-3 years. If you want to have it for quite some time, I think the newest model, the 32GQ, is worth it for a 5-year investment.

It's not currently in stock, but Cooler Master's Tempest GP27Q is a 1440p mini LED screen, though just 27 inches instead of 32. There have been some firmware updates, followed by issues from updates, followed by more fixes, so it may be worth researching to see if the particular problems are an issue for your use case. But if you wanted to try something more than the usual edge-lit IPS, this is an option at $500. Cooler Master is supposed to restock their Mini LED monitors at end of January.

This is latest model. Normally latest model is better than previous. But this is 1440p, I would suggest go with 27" only.

32" better with 4K but your card is 1070ti, 4K is not suitable.

Between GP850 and GP750, probably not. The different between LG product of the same series tend to be the stand and port selections. The panel itself will probably be exactly the same (GP850 seems to have more port when comparing the image of the them on rting with 750 on Amazon)

GQ850 has 260hz instead of 144+hz on the rest, so that's probably worth an extra money. But still, without the proper review my knowledge on this thing is as good as you. It could have issue like a significant overshoot at 60hz or even 120hz or uniformity or other issues (but then again, LG has a pretty good track record for their IPS gaming line)

my new choice for budget 32inch 1440p 165hz monitor is the 3223D

the 32GP850 is better but not 100usd better imho

if you want 240hz just get the GQ, but my recommedation is the dell but only because the lower end 27inch models are out of stock at 250usd~, unless you want the old and slightly outdated 27GL83A-B for 260usd
