I tried installing Windows 11 on my PC. when I checked in the "PC Health Check" app and it said I met the requirements.

But, when I checked at the Windows Update it said I didn't meet the requirements.

Then, I tried installing it from the Windows 11 installer from Microsoft's official website and started downloading the electricity went off because of heavy thunderstorms. Now when I try to open the installer again it shows this message.

I tried deleting and reinstalling again and still the same problem.

(I also tried to restart my computer once or twice after this message popped up)

You need to clean the old installation files from the temp folder or download the iso, mount it and run the installer that way.

First though, you want to make sure your PC fits the requirements yourself.

Your system needs to be on a GPT parition with UEFI enabled, you need to have SecureBoot enabled in BIOS and TPM on. If you run an older computer, chances are it won't be compatible to Windows 11.

Is there a specific reason you need to upgrade to 11?

Where can I find the temp folder? My PC is 1 year old so it shouldn't be a problem. and the reason I'm upgrading is simply because I like win11 look better.

open my computer, righ click on the drive where windows is installed on and select properties. You should see a clean button next to the storage indicator.

I don't want to be 'that jerk', but... Don't do OS critical stuff during a thunderstorm. 3:

Honestly, my opinion, if you're going to upgrade downgrade to Win 11, you might as well do a clean install at this point. If you have your current OS on a smaller SSD, just pull it and put a new drive in for Win 11, added bonus, if you hate Win 11 as much as you should, you can just pull that drive and put your Win 10 drive back in and not lose anything in the process.

Or give in and throw Linux on there, IJS.

Thank you for your help and opinion. Because I had stuff to do meanwhile it was downloading it took some time, then at the middle of the download the storm started. I'm now in win11 and no complaints yet (;
