So right now I have an AM3+ Platform in ATX size. So should I upgrade during my switch to MicroATX (Fractal Design Arc Mini) Or Upgrade on the whole. I was leaning towards a 760K for upgrade on the whole.

My suggestions tend to lean towards value, not outright performance, keep that in mind

Not Intel because I'm not getting a dual for anything, and a locked i5 is 180. I can get a 760K and board for that price. AMD AM3+ mATX boards are crap, I can't say the same for FM2/FM2+

Nothing, just CPU, and by extension the board. Really just want to downsize here.

For what kinda use? If you're just gaming, you can get the new kaveri apu's and a mini-itx board their IPC is somewhat better than FX at lower clock speeds if I'm not mistaken.

I wouldn't use an mITX board in the Arc Mini, that would just be limiting potential. Considering one, only if I can afford it.

Or just micro atx, but thats up to you imo. I don't really understand why you would go with matx or full atx these days, just to have the option to have a 2nd card in SLI/CF or more sata ports/ram? Before you'd have 10 hard drives, 1TB ssds will be 5$ in a nightshop.

Maybe so,but I already have the case. Its about as big as my S21, maybe a tad smaller, and can house a LOT more equipment. You can bet that the next righ will be ITX though. SLI/CF is no longer something that intrerests me.
