GPU Upgrade

Budget (including currency): Roughly $1000 USD

Country: USA

 

Looking to upgrade my wife's GTX 1660 (CPU Ryzen 7 5800x) for some upcoming games she is looking forward to. I currently have an RTX 3070 and 12700k, so I was considering upgrading myself and giving her my card, but with the 4070 Ti reviews, I'm not sure it's worth the money and could find a better upgrade in the future. Would you upgrade me to something new (4070 Ti, 7900 XT, etc.), or find her a temporary upgrade to a 6600 XT or something similar until something comes out that is a worthy upgrade over the 3070.

 

I'm currently playing on 1440p and she is playing at 1080p although possibly looking to get her on 1440 as well.

If you can afford it, get the 4070Ti or a 7900XTX, the 4080 and 7900XT aren't worth it.

Or you could wait a few months, get an RX 7700XT or 7600XT and a 1440p screen.
