Samsung S95B OLED dark areas aren't visible

I have recently bought the Samsung S95B OLED and have been playing some PS5 games.

 

When I go from a bright outside area to a darker inside area the screen doesn't handle the transition well, it just gets really dark/bright for a moment and then it adjusts. Also when I am playing and I am in an outside location and look into a cave or shelter which has a shadow I can't see into that shadow well, I have to go close to that shadow and then the TV adjusts and I can see what's in the shadow.

 

Does anyone know if this can be fixed?
