Recommend a ssd

Hi people! 
 

when I build my Pc i got a Samsung 980 evo m.2 ssd as my boot drive. But it only has 500gb. So I was looking for a 2.5 inch ssd, would like 2tb. 
 

could you recommend something Budget but fast enough for game library.

I would recommend looking at offers from certain brands. The best brands are probably Samsung, Seagate, wd (not so much the blue series). If you don’t care about having the fastest speeds really anything should do the trick as long as it’s a reputable brand.

What is Desk with the blue series? Heard not so good stuff about it from a bunch of people.

It’s just a cheaper product made with lower quality parts. They tend to fail a lot more often and are slower

There's nothing wrong with the wd blue series. I have 2x 2tb 2.5" sata wd blue 3d drives. I use them for games and audio storage. Had them for years and they're still at 99% health. Mines run at just over 556 mb/s. They're ideal for a games cache.
