Country: Belgium

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 1440p/165fps triple A games, programming, virtual machines, watching vids, school programs

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):
Don't need any peripherals, I'll be planning to buy this tomorrow. I might return the i7 for an i5.

Wanted to hear

I think this looks great.

However, given you're running VMs, you might want to keep the i7 for the extra performance cores. Though, ff you want to save some money, you could potentially go with a 600 serires motherboard, just make sure the BIOS is updated for Intel 13th gen.

Do you plan on overclocking? If not, you could also get get a B or H series chipset motherboard and save a few dollars that way.

Other than that this PC should server you very well!

Edit:

If you're looking for a good guide on motherboards naming conventions, Intel has a great resource

I guess if you use virtual machines and depending on exactly what games you want to play, you might be better off sticking to the i7. It all depends what your budget is.

The motherboard seems a bit expensive but I haven't kept up with the market of these parts, so idk if you're getting good value here

Looks good otherwise!

I'd like to have the ability to overclock and you might be right about the cpu. Thanks for the advice!
