Coolermaster HAF 932, tons of space for everything. Great air flow, pretty damn quiet, lots of mounting points for either fans or rads. Nice to work inside, plenty of room to move around. Also I like the look of it (personal preference). I will admit if I'd had the money at the time I might have gone for the HAF X but honestly there isn't much difference and the price difference was quite a decent chunk at the time.

In my opinion there isnt a "best case", there are cases for the situation, there are reasons where i can say a nzxt phantom is a the best case, i can argue that a H440 or define R4 is the best case hell i could probably tell you that the thermaltake T81 is the case and it damn well might be, why is that you may ask, because its the unsung hero, it offers a lot of opinion, a stupid amount of rad space, throw the crap out from the case if you dont want it and very good cable routing, that case deserves more attention.
