Try PC Case Gear or Mwave. But no matter where you shop gaming laptops are bound to be overpriced. There is also an Australian brand called Metabox that makes gaming laptops at decent prices.

I've seen Asus laptops everywhere, shop around at stores like JB HI-FI, Dick Smith, etc. and compare prices.

 

If you're looking for a good laptop I'd take a look here: http://www.logicalblueone.com.au/ I personally haven't bought from them but apparently they're really good quality, and the price looks pretty good.
