Looks like the cable has gotten loose. Just loosen the bolt holding the cable, pull the cable through a bit then tighten the bolt. Keep doing it until you're happy with the feel. Take it to a bike shop if you're unsure, shouldn't cost that much.

An easy fix is to just tighten the rear levers so that the left side is also touching or almost touching the rim. To do this loosen the bolt on the top of the right side and pull the steel cable further through the bolt and it will pull your left pad closer. Then to fine tune it use the top hollow bolt and lock nut on the hand lever.
