Good UEFI information?

Does anybody know a good source of material to learn about UEFI?

 

I would like to know how it works, what kind of pitfalls can I make, what tools can I use to fix them, etc.

 

I'm considering dual booting but these things seem obscure.

In this sense, anything about UEFI seems obscure. Its firmware of motherboard and has settings and features that control how mobo acts with hardware. For such basic thing as dual booting, you only need to adjust boot order. The rest, like paritioning, are handled by specific boot loader stored on drive you install first OS on.
