CPU compatible with MOBO

Go to solution Solved by SpookyCitrus,

You'll need to check with the seller to see if the board is up to date, B660 is previous Gen so it will need a bios update to work with 13th Gen. Freshly manufactured new stock should have the bios update from the factory but even if it's just a month or two old it most likely won't. I'd check with the seller before purchase or get a 13th Gen specific motherboard.

Is the new 13th gen intel cpu compatible with the Gigabyte B660 GAMING X AX DDR4 or is there needed a BIOS update. The specs of the mobo say that it is compatible but it does not specify if it needs a bios update.
