2-3 months ago i built my own pc and i always had a little input lag. this is in every game and also just on the desktop. (i move my mouse and it reacts with a delay) When i connect my mouse with my xbox that issue isn’t there. so, it can’t be the mouse and it cant be my monitor/screen. i have a logitech G203. it has to be my pc but i dont know what it is. 😞

my pc: intel i7 12700k, rtx 3050, 16 gb ram, motherboard: ASUS Prime Z690-P Wifi. Please help

do you have any usb 3 devices attached?

ps: oh this is a wired mouse? then try to lower dpi, or make it higher... definitely heard that can fix stutters (some interference,  similar to possible usb3 interference)

The direction tells you... the direction

Yes you have your polling rate on max, This is a strange one i would make sure that your usb drivers are installed correctly and i would try every usb slot available on the back of the motherboard.

Check device manager to see if all drivers are installed.

I found this as well https://www.lifewire.com/fix-mouse-lag-in-windows-10-5113449

Even if you have windows 11 it is based on windows 10 so these should still apply.

So only mouse lag, and not keyboard, correct? Do you have another mouse to try? Just because it works with xbox doesn't mean there's not something goofy going on between it and PC. If another mouse works, that would point to drivers/software, whereas if it has the same problems that would point to hardware or OS. I'm assuming since this is a new PC you have a UEFI BIOS, so try booting into that and use the mouse and see if there's lag there. If not, at least something inside Windows is the issue.

Edit: Also, check acceleration and speed. Maybe you have it set so it starts out slow and speeds up as you move it and you're interpreting that as delay.
