Does my build support ECC memory?

Hello!

I'm building a PC from discount and used parts to make a homeserver. I've obviously gotten into the decision of if I should splurge on ECC RAM or not, but does my build even support it? The website I bought my motherboard from says it supports ECC, some websites says my CPU (Ryzen 7 1700) supports it, but some doesnt. So, does my build support ECC?

MOBO: ASUS TUF B450M-PRO S GAMING

According to your motherboard's specification sheet, ECC support varies by CPU. According to TechPowerUp's CPU database, ECC memory is supported.

ECC or not depends on what you use it for. If you store a lot of files on that server, ECC is nice to have. On a game server it could hurt performance.

Depends on the board but you cpu definitely does good job AMD!
