Good Silent 650W-750W Power Supply.

Guest

Well, I HAD a Corsair TX650M, Which had a 0 Fan RPM mode, but the coil whine on it was insane. I'm looking for a replacement but I'm not really sure what will be silent enough for my case.

I've been looking into the Corsair RM750, but I'm still hesitant as I fear there will be coil whine once again. I could be wrong.

My price range is about $140 Maximum, I would prefer if it is under $110 though. Needs to be from Newegg.ca as I have store credit for it.

I tried out EVGA'S NEX750G Power supply but the fan was quite loud. I really want something silent as all the other fans in my system make little sound, so I would prefer a 0 RPM fan mode.

I am powering an i7-3770 (Non overclocked of course), a GTX 770, 4 fans and a lighting kit in the system.

What do you recommend?

RM650 or RM750. I have the RM750, and I haven't heard it since I built my system 5 months ago.

The RM series is very quiet, BUT it comes at the cost of crappy capacitors (made by Capxxon).

I suggest a Seasonic M12ii 620W

It is very quiet according to customer reviews and seasonic makes the best power supplies (including in terms of quality) so you wont skimp on any aspect and it comes in relatively cheap.

I'll tell you something.

I have a CS750M

It is worth £100. I am not sure what that is is $, but it is incredible quality. It's what I use.
