Looking for advice on meeting build budget requirements without sacrificing form factor (mini ITX)

Go to solution Solved by Somerandomtechyboi,

Just buy a deskmini x300 barebones and add the cpu, ram, cooler (included cooler from the cpu), and storage

You get an even smaller form factor now though no pcie slots, doubt youll need those if its just an office pc

Budget (including currency): 400 USD

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Average office PC for content viewing, light web development, and console emulation

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

List I'm looking at: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4rhwJM

Want to find this motherboard (don't want to factor it in yet though): https://pcpartpicker.com/product/s6tKHx/gigabyte-a520i-ac-mini-itx-am4-motherboard-a520i-ac

The other parts that aren't included are parts that aren't a factor as I won't need a GPU, I have peripherals available to me, and I have a computer case.

The objective is to have the mini-itx motherboard with the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G or a similarly powered APU. The other parts are able to change if needed.

This doesn't need to be built right away, I just want to have a parts list planned out that would be under the suggested budget.

If it is only office use & you have no need for pcie slots, you could look at a “NUC” PC, go between €150-400+

I think they may be even a smaller form factor than mITX. @Silvally Aegis
