Volume doesn't contain recognized file system

Hey all! First time poster here, unfortunately it's about a hard drive issue 😞

Earlier today, I installed Ubuntu from a USB drive onto a brand new SSD. This was done using an old PC, with the other drives disconnected so as to mitigate risk of data loss. I then took that SSD with Ubuntu installed, and connected it to my current PC. My current PC already had two drives connected, one running Windows, and one for storage. I then booted off the new SSD with ubuntu, and oddly enough the storage drive was not showing any content. I was under the impression that it was not mounted, so I tried to mount it. It wouldn't allow it to mount saying that the drive was already mounted or in use otherwise. I could see the contents for the Windows drive though. I then shut down the PC, and booted back into the Windows drive. When trying to access the storage drive from Windows, it gives me the drive is not accessible issue. In disk manager, the file system shows as RAW. I haven't run chkdsk yet as I'm concerned that it may cause further issues. The drive is otherwise showing status as Healthy (Basic Data Partition). Hopefully someone can help me recover the files on there. All help is greatly appreciated!!

Update: After a bit of digging, I'm under the impression that the storage drive's partition got converted into swap space (it was not formatted though). Any thoughts on how to confirm and diagnose if this is the case?
