5700x is 210 euro, 5600x is 170 euro and 5600 is 135 euro. Only requirement that it is good quality and atx if possible. I looked at the thread for mobos and found that the msi gaming plus or x can not remember is pretty good for the price.

Perhaps something like this

its €20 above budget, but choosing a cheaper board can get you in budget. This is a good mobo, but a step down would be fine too.

* I’m opting for 5700x over 5600, as it does perform slight better generally, but also for certain games such as simulation based or many objects like cities skylines.

Budget (including currency): 430€

Country: Austria

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Hunt showdown, GTA 5/6, sim racers, minecraft, cyberpunk 2077, monster hunter world/rise, various fps games and AAA games

Other details :

Current build from which I am upgrading:

Intel i3 10100;

Rx 6600,

Gigabyte b460m d3h,

16gb ddr4 cl16 3000mhz,

Corsair rm750x

2tb and 1tb hdd,

2 m.2 500gb ssd-s.

Dell 32" 1440p 165hz monitor

Now this budget is only for the cpu mb and ram. Gpu is gonna be a seperate upgrade when rdna3 comes out i was thinking either a 6700xt or equivalent rdna3 or nvidia gpu.

For the cpu I had 3 candidates in mind:

Ryzen 7 5700x

Ryzen 5 5600x

Ryzen 5 5600.

For the motherbord I was thinking of going msi b550, ram most likely 16gb now and later upgrade to 32.

Now if you guys could help me choose which one of these would be best or any other recomendations you have I am all ears/eyes.

For the future gpu upgrade as well. Thank you all in advance!

@R1sFa

what is the pricing on the 5700x and 5600?

as for mobo, any requirements you need from it?

Ram go with a 2*8 or 2*16 3200mhz kit and you should be fine.

I would go for the 5600X with a ASUS Strix B550-F motherboard, and keep the RAM you currently got until you can upgrade it, unless you need it for something else.

The performance difference to the 5700X is not worth the €40 extra, at least not for gaming.

I have the motherboard i mentioned myself, and its a good one. It struggled a bit with the 2.5Gb Ethernet in the beginning, but it seems to have been solved for a while now

i can get this board for about 30 euros cheaper on a different site but I will look for a comparison between this list and the parts that Tegneren listed. I will most likely use your buikd but with a 5600x, maybe I stay on the 5700x if I decide on doing some content creation.

Thank you very much for your help!
