Designer Laptop

I am a interior architecture designer. Currently looking for a new laptop. May I know the MSI GL66 is good enough to support what I'm using for?

I found 2 MSI GL66(following images) , I'm not sure that need to go for FHD - i7 12thgen or QHD 17 11th gen. Or any other model suggestion? budget around 5k-6k.

 

I'm also referring to this but inside no GL66 review....

What software will be used and what is important that the laptop has?

software like autocad, sketchup, photoshop ,3dsmax for rendering

I don't do rendering, that's what my friend does

 

autocad use the older version as it is easier to handle

you didn't understand me, for 3d redering the best is a PC, for other things a laptop is good

 

the graphics card is always weaker on a laptop than on a PC

 

the best option is to get a laptop and PC for that money

if you are going to do 3d rendering then you will
need a cooling stand for a laptop, graphics card for a laptop rtx 3070 and above

 

acer nitro 5 is ok but look for rtx3070 and above,the stronger your graphics card, the sooner you will finish the job in 3d rendering,the battery drains faster in 3d rendering on a laptop
