Hi, I need somebodys help. My dad built a computer for 3d modeling and cad.

Computer specs:

CPU: I7 10700f

motherboard: Asus prime H410m-e

ram: Vgen 2x32GB 2666Mhz

GPU: Nvidia Quadro RTX  4000

Storage: Vgen 1tb nvme m.2 ssd and a ironwolf 1tb hdd

Right now, when opening large files such as sketchup and Autodesk Autocad, the pc will suddenly crash or will restart by itself. Right now i think that the motherboard is causing this issue as when i take one stick or ram out, the pc will run stable on any slot. And I also had thought of the psu being the issue as it cannot handle the power usage of the pc when being used. But I do not know which one to cause the problem, because I had tried other ram sticks such as the corsair vengence lpx 2x32GB 2666Mhz and it will still run like so. I also tried changing the gpu for a GTX 1050ti and it still did not work. Anyone knows why?

I would try updating your BIOS at this point, if that doesn't work its probably the motherboard. You have done a pretty good job narrowing everything else down. Since the Quadro 4000 RTX only has a max power draw of 170, it should be enough.

Have you tried restarting it?

If its crashing or restarting randomly from basic tasks you probably just need to bump its PSU up a wattage notch. With a lot of PC's its better to have a little TOO much watts for a PC by a small margin than have too little and have the system be unpredictable.

I love PC building and gaming.
REMEMBER botttlenecks can happen at all points of a PC part. Make sure you are at equilibrium. For all parts unless you intend to upgrade at a later point. Also QA Tested AAA Games.
