Troubleshooting audio 5.1, please help

I have a Logitech Z906 and it all worked perfectly. I used the speaker setup from control panel to configure it properly, i tested every speaker including the sub, the sound waves appeared along with the ding-dong sound.

Without changing anything now it isn't working anymore and when i try to configure it, the sound waves come out from all the speakers but the sound (ding-dong) only from L and R.

All the speakers and the sub are working - tested them with youtube/ netflix.

i have tried uninstalling/ installing audio driver, installing realtek hd audio driver, different sound softwares without any success. Now in movies (VLC) i don't have voice.

What can i do?

What type of connection are you using?

On the little control panel/unit that connects to the subwoofer, press the "effect" button until none of the 3 effect lights are showing.

 

Also, set all your surround speakers to "small" in control panel so the subwoofer gets signal.

Main speaker setup is now;

 

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

 

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)
