A psu doesn't hook up to software usually and the ones that do use their own thing.

thanks I saw the corsair does use iCUE to do fan curve so was thinking there may be a different brand that would give control but no extra software

Control of what?

 

You cant control the psu's in any way shape or form. All they do is give a estimate report.

This is what the Corsair psu says "Powerful CORSAIR iCUE Software: Create custom fan curves, monitor power settings, and toggle between single to multi-rail overcurrent protection (OCP) on-the-fly." But thats fine if I dont have to worry about it. Thanks

That's only a very few select of corsair PSU.
Mostly and nowadays people who buy corsair PSU doesn't have that feature.

PSU fan is better left alone since they have been configured from the factory, messing with it might not end well.
