System Data is Using 171 Gb - MacOS

So I am using OneDrive, and was using the feature of Always Keep on Device for my work folder. I no longer work for that company and Free'd up Space. I suspect that the 171 Gb is from the old work folder being stuck.

 

Is there a way to erase it without factory resetting my mac? I have tried solutions from Google, but nothing seems to work (using cleaner apps, reinstalling OneDrive, and so on).

"System Data" is a lot of stuff. I have almost twice as much, but I've got every development SDK installed as well as many sounds for Logic and Main Stage for example. 

 

It's better to to use something like DaisyDisk which can give you a directory based breakdown of what's eating your harddrive space. You'll find OneDrive files stored in `~/Library/CloudStorage` and can see there if that's what's eating more space than you expect.

System data is Anything that doesn't fit in the other storage categories you can see on your screenshot. That mostly includes Caché and plugins.

You could try clearing those out and use DaisyDisk as maplepants suggested to clear out some space.
